What I'm Doing To Stimulate The Economy/Environment

It is no secret that the national debt is around, let's say 100 trilliongazillionmilliion. Dollars. And my part in that is about...half. So it is my duty as a citizen of this fine country to turn this economic crapshoot around. And let's not forget about Mother Earth. She's a dirty bitch in need of a nice hot bath. So here is a list of things I'm doing to contribute.

1. Still buying things from Target that are 75% off. The store just keeps adding new things to this rack.

2. When I buy a dress, shirt, or something that comes on a hanger, I decline to take the hanger with me. This way, they don't have to buy new hangers to hang new merchandise on. I am saving the company money, therefore they will not have to lay off workers. I think I just saved someone's job. GO ME!

3. If I go somewhere and they ask if I would like a copy of my receipt, I decline. They don't print it out and wa-lah, a forest just got saved. I'm like Jesus.

4. I also don't put my bought sh*t in a bag if it's less than 5 items. I just throw that stuff in my purse, thus saving the bag from going into the landfill, thus I just saved a layer of ozone. You're Welcome Al Gore.

5. Sometimes I don't flush the toilet til like, the 3rd time I've peed. (and I pee a lot, so that is a lot)

6. Adam leaves the light & tv on for the dog (I know right, a DOG), and I go behind him and shut it off.

7. I try to buy organic whenever it is feasible/affordable. I support my local farmers damnit.

8. Even though we don't pay for water, I still shut it off while brushing my teeth. And we all know I don't do anything unless it benefits me directly..... ;)

9. I try to take as many showers with as many people as possible.........save H2O.

10. 1 of every 5 beers opened in the world is a Bud Light. I help with that every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and sometimes Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

11. I don't pick up my dog's poop. Here's why that's beneficial....it is free fertiliser. Plus I'm not wasting a doggie bag and throwing that away and leading to environmental bedlam.

12. Since I've been unemployed for the last 2 months, I don't drive much. (This will change starting Feb 12th)

13. My bank, cell and all other account statements are emailed to me instead of coming to me via Postman. Damn, another tree saved.

14. I shop online a lot, which means I'm boosting online revenue and saving gas from driving to stores, and helping out UPS! I really am amazing.

15. I buy a lot of store brands to boost sales. This may or may not be because it's cheaper and that helps me out more, but let's just keep that to ourselves. shhhhhh.
