Fat Man in a Suit Day

I hope this is you this Christmas! Have a happy happy spiked eggnog holiday! Make resolutions and then break them the next day, that's the only way to do it. :)

As for me, I'll be spending this holiday playing with the presents I bought other people. Woohoo. And watch out kids, I'm taking an improv class starting in Jan which means in approx a year and a half I'll be on the SNL stage. (wait, what? That's not how it works? crap.)

Oh well, Merry Christmas!

End of 2008

2008 is almost over and I realize I haven't blogged in forever. Bloggin has dramatically been reduced with my recent jobs over the past year. I was teaching for a while, so I had no time during the day to blog. And now I'm working at a Marketing Promotional company and am very busy, thus no time to blog at work. By the time I get home, I'm too tired or uninspired to blog about anything. So I'll catch you up on what's been going on and what I have to look forward to.

I'm working at Passport International, a mkt/promotional company in Mt. Pleasant. We sell anything you can possibly imagine in regards to promotional products. I have a sweet cubicle in the back where noone can bother me equipped with mood lighting and pictures of SNL characters. I'm thinking about getting a second job for extra cash after the holidays. Perhaps a boutique where I can work Saturday mornings or a couple days after work. Hey, at least gas prices are down.

The election was an incredible time. I was excited and thrilled through the whole process. We are witnessing history in the making. I hope it all works out the way we hope and think. I have a feeling Barack is going to be good for us and I can't wait to see what he does. However, I do agree it will take years to fix the mess we're in.

I'm debating what I want to do for NYE. With limited funds this year, I'm hoping to do something either lowkey or lowbudget. For a moment, I was debating bartending somewhere to make lots of money, but I haven't heard of anywhere hiring for NYE. I guess we'll see.

Today is full of more Christmas shopping. One present down, many more to go. Let's do it!

I will leave you with my favorite quote from the Office yesterday "You are a silent killer, go back to the Annex"

:)
